You, probably
Obviously, it doesn’t deliver as good results as Google, and you have to turn off your ad-blocker to plant trees, but it is powered by Bing, so if you use Bing, you’ll get exactly the same results, and if you’re dying to use Google, there is a ‘Google’ tab where you can search Google instead of Bing, although it doesn’t plant trees. Of course, they need to make money to plant trees, and they do this by displaying ads at the top of the results, just like Google would, except 80% of the profit made through the ads goes to planting trees.
Summing up
In general, Ecosia is a great search engine and delivers good results to help you help save the environment just from your computer.
And if you want to do your bit in saving the environment, use Ecosia.
